AMBER Crystal Earrings - Statement Earrings, Dangle Earrings, Handmade Jewelry, Healing Crystals and Stones, 50379 moldavite individual 18 - 19 gramsLocation: Chiapas, Mexico Amber is hard, translucent, fossilized tree resin produced by extinct coniferous trees from the Tertiary period. It is typically yellow in color but can range from brown to orange or red. Amber is graded by color, clarity, rarity of inclusions (popularized by Jurassic Park), hardness, color of fluorescence, and sometimes locality. Many ambers fluoresce green or blue under ultraviolet light, giving added appeal and value!
