An Early Croatian Wwii Period Gendarmerie Cap Badge Auction This shako is in theCroatian Early WWII Period Gendarmerie Cap Badge; in aluminum, lacquered and enameled, made by partially using old Royal Yugoslav Officers cap badge as a base and inserting Croatian Coat of Arms in the center; round enameled insignia at the top signifies Gendarmerie; circa late 1941, in worn condition. Scarce.
